Sun's coming up, and then it goes down.
A couple of music filled days filled the English room on Thursday and Friday and I really enjoyed it! Various types of music being played for the purpose of one project; The Choir Line project. The first group to go was a very fluid presentation with minor technical difficulties but in the end it barely mattered, whenever I had to go up it felt like a way to expose some new music or bring back songs that certain people have heard in the past, it is a shame that the third group didn't get to finish that day, I did want to hear what pieces of music they have chosen. All in all, it was probably.. no.. it was one of the most enjoyable projects to do in an english class, My group and I had a blast just trying to figure out what songs can be used to describe the Chorus Lines within the story or Oedipus. I actually really hope that something like this will come up again when we can have the opportunity to be able to use music to express our opinions with in the English class.

Flaws of a King
Oedipus Rex, King Oedipus.. A blind yet wise man, arrogant, with a great amount of pride, balled up into one indvudual who cannot see the truth, and because of his boastful hubris, is unable to perceive the truth like you and I when told of said truth. The concept of hamartia deals with a characters tragic flaw, and what was stated before is Oedipus' hamartia, When Oedipus is confront by Tiresias and when the blind prophet explains that Oedipus killed the previous king, King Laius, Oedipus was appalled and furious with not only Tiresias, but Creon too. Claiming that it was, a blind accusation, ironically being that Oedipus is blind not to the situation at hand, but to the entire fact that the Gods told him that he will kill his father. Oedipus, along with being very blind, is arrogant. He feels superior to all the common people of Thebes because of his intellect, for he himself confronted the Sphinx that plagued the city of Thebes. With all these in mind, all these concept in hand will lead to the tragic fall that is King Oedipus. But we'll talk about that later.

Music is eternal.
No matter what music will always be a permanent addition to society, and with music being part of society, people will always want to listen to music, be it Rock, Rap, Dreampop, Shoegaze, EDM, Electronica, Drum and Bass, Country, etc. there will be a group that will be in demand by SOMEONE. Now with popular artists today it is highly possible they go down in history, but that doesn't apply to only popular bands, I can be one of the outcasts that prefer a band no one has heard about than listening to what is "popular". So no matter what, all music will be around for a very long long time.

Entry 1
I am Fletcher. A diversified Muti-cultural post-modern deconstructionist, politically, anatomically, and ecologically incorrect. I'm new wave, but I'm old school, and my inner child is outward bound. I'm hot-wired, heat-seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice-activated and biodegradable. I interface with my database and my database is in cyberspace, so I'm interactive, I'm hyperactive, and from time to time, I'm radioactive. I wear power ties, I tell power lies, I take power naps, I run victory laps. I'm a totally outgoing bigfoot slamdunk rainmaker with a proactive outreach. You can't shut me up, you can't dumb me down, 'cause I'm tireless, I'm wireless. I'm an alpha male on beta blockers. But I'm feeling, I'm caring, I'm healing, I'm sharing a supportive, bonding, nurturing, primary caregiver. My output is down, but my income is up. I take a short position on a long bond, and my revenue stream has its own cash flow. I read junk mail, I eat junk food, I buy junk bonds, and I watch trash sports. I'm gender specific, capital intensive, user friendly, and lactose intolerant. I'm a rude dude, but I'm the real deal, lean and mean, cocked, locked, and ready to rock; Rough, tough, and hard to bluff. I take it slow, I go with the flow, I ride with the tide, I got glide in my stride, Drivin' and movin', sailin' and spinin', jivin' and groovin', wailin' and winnin'. I don't snooze, so I don't lose. I keep the pedal to the metal and the rubber on the road. I party hardy, and lunch time is crunch time. I'm hangin' in there ain't no doubt, and I'm hanging tough, over and out.
